The Hands of Change Association is a secretarial service that serves the interests and needs of the Sovereign Military-religious Order of Teutonic Knights Templars of the Church of Nobles of Present-day Brethren (Germanite Brethren) and this church owns the schools.

The HOCA manages and processes documents. The HOCA is not a school, offers no classes, employees no teachers. The HOCA is not in the business of education.

This Home Page presents to the public some information needed or wanted by the public. This information is offered as a public service.

The Germanite Brethren have had high school classes starting in 1993 and continuing up to today. Germanite Brethren are a church and religious society. We believe in doing everything possible within the walls of our member’s homes. Because of this belief we have been called the “Home Religion Movement”. Most of our classes are held in one or more houses of our membership. We do have a few classes held in the offices of our church around the world.

To have classes held in your home you must be not only a member of our church but properly educated as a teacher and follow the church’s department of education teaching plan.

These “home held classes” are not much different then any public school class. When the student graduates they receive an accredited diploma and transcript.

We do accept as students non-members.

Our diploma is a real accredited diploma from a private high school. It is not given from a parent to a child as is done with home teaching.

Think of it like this, our high school’s location is made up of every house giving classes combined.

The most important thing is that our educatees learn and get a good education and not where they studied or under what circumstance.

Steps to earning your GED or College Prep GED.

Call 520 313 0826 and ask for an application and exam to be mailed or emailed to you.

Send a money order, check or cash $45 GED or $65 College Prep GED donation. Make money order or check payable to JOE DAVID WARNER. If you do not pass your money will be returned.

Fill out the application. Take the exam while with another person as your witness that you correctly took the exam. The person must sign your application in witness.

Find a photo you like for your student ID if you want one. There is an extra donation fee of $20 for the ID.

Make a color copy of your Driver License to send us by mail with your exam, photo and application.

Once we have back your information and finished exam the exam will be graded and you will be notified.

It takes about 7 business days to process your diploma.

Our GED is awarded by passing our Short Form GED Exam which has 25 questions or our college prep level GED which has 29 questions and a one page essay).

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT.

The terms "General Equivalency Diploma" or "General Education(al) Diploma," are used by high schools such as ours in the USA for their schools high school adult diplomas although these expansions are not recognized by the American Council on Education, which developed the most widely used GED test but not the only one.

Jurisdictions award a "Certificate of General Educational Development" or similarly titled credential to persons who meet the passing score requirements. These are Certificates not High School Diplomas. Diplomas are issued by Schools not by Jurisdictions.

If you have or get a Diploma from our high school it is not a certificate from a jurisdiction such as your State or area college. A “Jurisdiction” is any agency given recognition to examine and issue a “Certificate of General Educational Development” by the American Council on Education. The American Council on Education is a corporation just like the Hands of Change Association nothing more. It is not an agency or department of the US federal government and has no more authority than our HOCA. The American Council on Education is not a school or university as we are. It is a “COUNCIL”, “A body serving in an administrative capacity”. There body councils on education to anyone that will listen, nothing more and nothing less. We are not trying to diminish their work or council. We are only trying to put it into perspective. Much of the system we use in awarding our diplomas and degrees was developed by the American Council on Education.

We are attempting to show that the GED program developed by the ACE is not the only way to earn your proper educational documents, change your future and gain the important things in life.

Our Royal Institute is a High School and issues a General Education Diploma in Senior High School Equivalency; a diploma not a certificate.

Our high school equivalent diploma is a real high school diploma. It has been used by thousands across the USA and world wide to continue their education at an American university or an International university, find a better job and used just like any other high school diploma.

Let us point out a big difference in our diploma and a GED gotten though the ACE. We know of no country in the world or State of the USA that our diploma is not accepted by the government and private employers. This is not true however of a GED from the American Council on Education. Example: Mexico our southern neighbor will not allow the use of a GED from the ACE. The Secretary of Public Education has made it 100% unacceptable and therefore cannot be used in Mexico. To study in Mexico or work there you need a high school diploma from a high school not a certificate from a corporation. This is true in other parts of the world. There are employers that will not accept an ACE GED and some that do give preference to persons with real high school diplomas like ours gotten from a high school not a corporation.

Because our Educational Institution is 132 years old, we are International serving people of many diverse cultures, a private school NOT A PUBLIC SCHOOL and we take no money from any government of the USA or any of its States we can make our own rules. We cannot however break the Laws of these governments. Being a fully private and independent school means we are not and cannot be State accredited. So we sought independent third party accrediting from a professional accrediting agency.

We have students who are 14 and 15 years old that must work. They have a family and depend on an education to better their lives.

Therefore we offer our degrees, diplomas/GED and certificates to anyone 14 years old and older. Of course they must qualify in all other requirements as well.

1. First Established in 1876 and then re-organized in 2004, the Hands of Change Association (HOCA) is a United States Association incorporated in Arizona. The HOCA is an officially recognized educational agency of the governing body of the Military-religious Order of the Teutonic Knights Templars, aka "Royal Order of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon".

2. Education—The Hands of Change Association will create for its members, its associated Church (Germanite Brethren) and the GENERAL PUBLIC an education program to include everyone that desires to further their understanding and position in life, to increase awareness and understanding of Our American traditions, both within our community and in the world, both SECULAR and religious.

3. Support—we will provide Counseling and education to help provide more prospects to Our Church's Ministry and more qualified people to administer our association. Also to provide better qualified Agents. By so doing we are building an environment where all persons can sustain each other on the religious, secular, spiritual, physical, emotional and mental domain.

Note: We are not here to judge the conscience of man, we all already have a Judge and He will one day Judge us all.

8. Commanded Change - to be aware of the world around us and work towards the improvement of the situations of everyone. To understand the issues of importance in the community and the world and work towards a safe, clean planet filled with tolerance, forbearance, understanding and where the essentials of life are available to everyone, where the Creator’s form of Government is on Earth as it is in Heaven.
